Polaris Soccer Club

About Us

Polaris Soccer Club was founded in 1992 for the purpose of providing a challenging and positive environment for the competitive female soccer player in Tarrant County. We believe that through professional instruction in the appropriate training environment we can develop female athletes who can achieve their goals of playing soccer at the highest competitive levels while also learning to respect their opponents through victory or defeat. We strive to have a program centered around the four basic fundamentals of the game – Technical Training – push for individual excellence with the ball, Tactical Training – decision making and team play/unity, Physical Training – mastering top fitness levels to compete at the highest levels for the duration of a match, Psychological Training – developing mental toughness and a competitive spirit while also enjoying the game; respecting others.

Polaris Soccer Club believes that the coaching staff collectively are role models on and off the pitch and hold each other to high standards in regards to Coaching Education, Training Session Structure and Game Management/Behavior. We feel that each staff member should possess the necessary “people skills” to effectively deal with players, parents, fellow staff members and game officials. Each member of Polaris S.C. is driven to excellence through maximum organizational efficiency. This should be evident in the presentation of our training sessions, motivational player/coach relationships, positive league play results and continued success of our players beyond their playing days.

The Club is very proud of the success of its Alumni who continue to play at higher college levels around the country as well as at the national level. Some of the area universities with former Polaris players would include TCU, SMU, Texas Tech, Abilene Christian, North Texas not to mention The US U-20 Women’s National Team. We work to provide the players who wish to play at the next level every opportunity to do so through concise preparation of our College Player Scholarship Program, participation in college showcase tournaments and continued positive relationships with college head and assistant coaches.

We encourage all players to try out for the North Texas Olympic Development Program (ODP) as evidenced by the several current players already participating in the program.

Polaris Soccer Club provides a first class training facility with three full sized/lighted fields, plenty of training equipment, excellent playing turf, ample parking and a great location in Arlington. The club has gone to great lengths to provide a safe playing environment with sufficient space to allow each team plenty of space to train and maximize their potential. The club also has the ability for expansion so the facility can grow with the club.

Polaris Soccer Club prides itself in its reputation for honest and fair dealings at every level. We have a commitment to compliance of all rules and regulations of the organizations and leagues that we are affiliated with and maintain a strong desire to protect the integrity of the club.

We feel that during the sometimes lengthy and difficult task of choosing the right competitive soccer club for your player you give Polaris Soccer Club serious consideration. We know that you will not regret the decision to become part of the family.

Thank you,
